NOrthern Rivers Performing arts centre (norpa)

NORPA is one of Australia's leading regional theatre companies, based in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales.  Below is a message from NORPA’s former General Manager:

“Without TEL Consultants the NORPA Foundation’s fundraising success would not have been possible. TEL Consultants’ contribution was threefold:

 1. Writing and establishing the governance model for the NORPA Foundation. That model was a key component of NORPA’s success in creating the commitment and support of the NORPA Board to the foundation’s goals. It also included the establishment of the Foundation Committee made up of local donors and supporters that had particular interest, focus and expertise in fundraising.

2. Writing NORPA’s Fundraising strategy and working closely with NORPA staff, board and the Foundation Committee to ensure the whole organisation was able and ready to execute that strategy. It capitalised on existing relationships and generated new connections that broadened the donor base of supporters.

 3. Securing matched funding through Creative Partnerships Australia’s Plus1 initiative. Through TEL Consultants’ efforts, NORPA was ready to undertake and achieve, what for us, was a new and ambitious goal.  That success has built organisational capacity and community support that is building NORPA’s longer-term sustainability, including being able to afford employing a fundraising professional on staff.”
